Mr. Nkosinathi Sibetha

Mr. Sibetha holds a Btech degree in Forestry (Nelson Mandela University).

His work experience can be summarised as below:

2009-2010 TWK Student forester, managing motor-manual operations.

2014-2015 Mondi Junior harvesting forester ,Pine mechanisation (250 000 PA).

2015-2019 Mondi Harvesting and transport Forester (120 000 tons gum and 120 000 tons pine) All fully mechanised operations.

2019 – 2020 Mondi Zimele Forestry Development Manager

2020 – Present Managing Director SC Forestry Contractors

Operational Overview

Standard harvesting system and short haul as per Sappi Best Operating Systems are carried out in the daily operations and include the following activities

  • Harvesting (felling, de-barking, cross-cut and stacking)
  • Extraction (loading of processed timber by hand and the tractors transports the timber to depot) The operations will be done under the qualified forester who plan and execute the works order. 

Productivity

The business has the capacity to produce 3700 tons and short haul the same amount of tons a month. 

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Successfully completed the 5 year contract with Sappi and reaching a milestone of 1 Million LTI-FREE MANHOURS
  • Awarded the best Enterprise Supplier Development contractor for Sappi Forest in 2025 which was awarded by Standard Bank
